Contrary to what people teach, Satan has power. Satan was an archangel, so he has his angelic abilities. It’s with that power that he does all what he does. When Jesus said that all power has been given to Him, it didn’t mean that no other person has power: after all, governors and presidents have power: what it means is that His power is greater than every other power, and that all other powers are subject to His.
Having the above understanding will open your eyes to the reason why people are still oppressed and harassed by the devil; why you must never give place to the devil, as the scripture says; and why you must learn to use your authority in Christ and resist the devil.
Satan is not one to be afraid of; Jesus defeated him and all the hosts of darkness! At the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow! As Christians, we have power to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over every power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt us! A lot of us just need to get bolder and use of authority. Victory is ours in Jesus! Hallelujah!
