A lot of us, God’s children, want to be rich, but the question is, “How many of us are ready to be rich?”
God will not give you what you cannot handle well. God made Abraham father of nations because He trusted him to train them in the ways of the Lord. Give some people a good job, and that becomes their excuse for not attending church events. God will rather have you than give you that job and lose you!
What you are doing with the little money you have now is exactly what you will do with money when you have much of it. If you are not giving now, you won’t give when you have more. It’s true! Jesus said that we should store our treasures in heaven: how many of us are? Are we sponsoring the gospel? Are we giving to the needy? It matters to God what you do with your money; He’s watching!
