What will you ask for if you know that it will be given to you? How much will you write on a blank cheque if one is given to you? People are not always given everything that they desire, but favour makes anything possible! I am experienced enough to know that you won’t always get from man what you deserve; men will continue to look for ways to deny you; but favour makes it impossible to be denied; favour actually makes people want to do for you more than you deserve!
“Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king’s palace, across from the king’s house… So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court, that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand.” Esther found favour in the sight of the king and because of that she was told to ask for anything, up to half of the kingdom! The daughter of Herodias also found favour before Herod. Her dance pleased him, and he promised with an oath to give her whatever she might ask. Wow!
Psalms 84:9 NLT says, “O God, look with favor upon the king, our shield! Show favor to the one you have anointed.” Today, favour is yours, in the name of Jesus! May the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; and may the Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace!
