The Bible says that the earth was a very dark place in the beginning until God said, “Let there be light.” When there was light, other things followed. Light had to come first before God began to recreate the then world that was without form.
Jesus is the light of the world. Hallelujah! There are so many people in the world in darkness. Matthew 4:15-16 talks about people which sat in darkness. Darkness symbolizes everything that is not good: sicknesses, diseases, poverty, confusion, worry, sadness, etc. If these people would come to Jesus, He would change their lives forever!
Are you genuinely saved? You should never be in the darkness; not even for a second! The word of God is the light; you must make using it a habit. It’s a light that no form of darkness can withstand. John 1 says that the light shines in darkness and the darkness cannot comprehend it! Glory to God! Today, every form of darkness is banished from your life, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
