Romans 6:11 ERV “In the same way, you should see yourselves as being dead to the power of sin and alive for God through Christ Jesus.”
Self perception is the idea you have of the kind of person that you are: how you see yourself; what you think about yourself; what you believe about yourself; what you say about yourself.
What you believe about yourself becomes real. You’ve got to understand this! Until you begin to see yourself that way, think of yourself that way, and speak of yourself that way, the chances of ever becoming that way will be very slim. Wishing and desiring to be something is not enough; it’s your perception that makes it happen.
And that’s what faith is about. Jesus said, When you pray, believe that you have received it, and then you will have it. The purpose of prayer is to change our perception. Also, whenever you see a picture of who you are in the Scripture, change your perception to whatever God has said about you. That’s how it manifests physically!
