Matthew 7:1-2 ERV “Don’t judge others, and God will not judge you. If you judge others, you will be judged the same way you judge them. God will treat you the same way you treat others.”
The Scripture says that God will treat us the way we treat others. Scary! But Jesus didn’t say that to make us scared; He said so to teach us to love one another, to honour ourselves and to appreciate each other.
The best way to relate with others is to see God in them. Yeah, we can be nice to our friends, siblings, big customers and so on, but how about our house helps, our staff, our subordinates, our students and those we are more privileged and powerful than? Are you using your office, your wealth and position to oppress, manipulate and intimidate people or are you using it to help, bless, inspire and elevate people who you come in contact with?
God treats us the same way we treat others! Maybe that’s why your prayers aren’t being answered; maybe that’s why you’re not experiencing the blessings of God; maybe that’s why your own superiors are also wicked to you; maybe that’s why things are not well with you! Maybe all you need to do is to start treating people right.
