The controversial forward could not lead his team to victory as Naif Hazizi scored an equalizer for the Arabs in the dying minutes of the game after Suarez had come offin the 70th minute.

Although Suarez’ ban is due to expire in two weeks, he is permitted to play non-competitive matches like friendlies and will feature in new club, Barcelona against bitter rivals, Real Madrid in a Spanish La Liga mach.

The former Liverpool and Ajax player could have gotten a goal of his own but was denied by Waleed Abdullah after an awful back pass. Suarez missed after attempting to beat the keeper, minutes before he was brought off the pitch.

The 2013/2014 PFA player of the year tweeted this after the match.

“Happy to wear this shirt again, gives me so much joy. Love the shirt. Uruguay!!”
