SO TRAGIC: Swarm Of Strange Bees Sting Mother, Son To Death In Delta

A swarm of bees had over the weekend stung a middle aged woman with her teenage son to death in the Ogwashi-Uku community of  Delta State.

The unidentified woman who was said to have returned to their hometown with her husband and children for the New Year celebrations allegedly went to Delta state Polythecnic for sight seeing in the company of her son and a female friend when the strange incident occurred.

According to Leadership reports, sources said that the victim had driven her son and her woman friend to the Fine and Applied Art Department area located within the permanent site of the polytechnic to see the development going on in the institution when they were allegedly attacked by the wild bees.

The bees which appeared from the blue allegedly stung the boy mercilessly that he fell to the ground and struggled for his life.

In her bid to save her son, the bees allegedly landed all over her body and attacked her mercilessly while her friend who was there during the strange incident screamed out for help and attracted the attention of security personnel and the Delta state fire service officials  in the school.

The officials immediately waded into actions and made efforts to save the victims from the strange bees but unfortunately could not survive the bizarre attack.
