Emmanuel, a 17 year-old boy, was arrested on Monday, January 15, 2018, and charged with beating his own mother to death because he thought she was in possession of his missing memory card
According to an online report, Emmanuel asked his mother if she knew where his memory card was, she denied having any knowledge of where the card could be, but Emmanuel disbelieved her, insisting that she was with it.
Emmanuel reportedly became angered when his mother kept insisting that she had neither seen nor kept the missing memory card. He became so furious that he attacked her with a pestle.
He repeatedly hit her on the head, seeing that she was incapacitated but still alive, he went outside the room, removed a burning firewood from a nearby fire and burnt her with it, leading to her death.
Emmanuel was apprehended shortly after the murder and handed to the police.
