Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Tony Anenih on Wednesday, 20, 2015 resigned his position “on personal grounds”
His resignation comes hours after he National Chairman, Ahmadu Mu’azu quit his post.Announcing the resignation via a statement issued by its National Working Committee (NWC), the PDP appreciated Anenih for his contribution to the growth of the party, especially as one of the founding members of the party.

The statement which was issued by PDP National Secretary, Wale Oladipo read in part: “As one of the founding fathers of the PDP, the NWC appreciates Chief Anenih’s guiding role in the party in the last 16 years and wish him well in his future endeavours.

“Consequent upon the resignation, the Secretary of the Board of Trustees, Senator Walid Jibrin holds forth pending the election of a new BoT Chairman.”
