On Friday, May 15, 2015 the body guards of Princess Stella Oduah, a former Minister of Aviation and also a Senator-elect of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, shot and killed three persons in Umuodu, Ochuche in Ogbaru local government area of Anambra State.
Other persons have also been reported to have sustained severe injuries apart from the three who were killed.
Although the Police Command of the state has confirmed this story, the situation of things and its details are still not quite clear as at the filing of this report.
DSP Uche Ezeh, The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), revealed that the culprit who has been identified to be a vigilante and not a police officer attached to Stella Oduah has been arrested.
The two persons injured in the attack – Chuka Okechukwu and Chukwuebuka, according to Ezeh have been taken to Ogbaru general hospital for treatment.
He said the police acted on information received from the community, adding that investigations were still ongoing to unravel what caused the fracas.
