TRAGIC: Many Drown As Boat Capsizes In Niger State
An unspecified number of people have drowned in a boat mishap in Zumba in Shiroro local government area of Niger State.
It was learnt the victims include women and children going from the Zumba Saturday market on Saturday, July 23, 2022.
The boat was said to be among the five that took off from the Iburo community around 10 am.
It was said to have capsized midway into the journey.
Local divers have begun searching for the bodies of the victims.
