In a video made available by Sahara Reporters, a reporter with Citizen newspaper was assaulted in an unspecified location in Lagos.
The video shows a number of policemen calling the reporter and attacking him. A crowd of people try to help, but the policemen scare them away, going ahead to vandalize his video camera.
Reasons for their actions are still unknown. Details to follow soon.
