Vice-President Sambo To Head Transition Committee

Some have said Vice-President Namadi Sambo has been dormant for the four years he has been in office. That is about to change as he will be heading a strategic position that will see to the smooth transition in government.

President Goodluck Jonathan is likely to appoint his vice to head the transition committee that he will set up to handover power to the incoming government headed by President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari.

The members of the transition committee will be made public this week, according to a top government official.

It has also been revealed by the anonymous top government official that no serving minister will make up the committee as they would also be appearing before same.

Vice-president Sambo is tipped to head the committee that the President will set up this week.

The vice-president elect, Yemi Osinbajo will be heading the committee of the incoming government.
