Former military Head of State and presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), General Mohammadu Buhari has revealed that he went to the UK to rest which negates the claims by the APC that he went on a working visit.

General Buhari who returned to Nigeria on Friday, March 6, 2015 after about two weeks abroad in company of his family members and party officials at about 5:40 am dismissed claims that he was not in the best state of health.

Answering questions from journalists at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport as to whether he went to the UK for medical reasons, General Buhari said:  “I just went off for a couple of weeks to rest. That’s all I did.”

Further quizzed on whether he visited the hospital in the UK, he said: “What is wrong for me to go to the hospital? Am I not here now? Aren’t you seeing me? Are you seeing a sick man?”

  1. General Buhari, you needed a 3 week rest outside the country after about 6 weeks of campaigning. You are not the person for the job. Please acknowledge that. Nigeria is a real country, not a computer game. From what I have gathered from your speeches, videos, campaign and your press releases, I think its best if you go into retirement and stay in retirement. Disappear already!

Nigeria should be run by vibrant, well educated men and women who truly love Nigeria. General Buhari, you do not love Nigeria or else you would not even think of dragging your sick, incompetent, blood thirsty, uneducated, tired ol’ self on the ballot.

Shame on Buhari, APC leaders, and Tinubu for this charade!

As for Governor Amaechi, there is a special place in hell for someone who takes money meant for developing a state, a South South state nonetheless and puts it into a sinking fund called the Buhari campaign.
