An Internally Displaced Person (IDP), Aisha Usman was on Wednesday, April 7, 2015 delivered of a baby boy at the Lamido Lawan model primary school, Girei, Adamawa State.
According to The Cable, the woman went on to name her son, “Buhari” in honour of Nigeria’s President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari.
Usman, who gave birth to Buhari in the period between the presidential and governorship elections, said she named her baby thus in order to remind herself of the circumstances of the boy’s birth.
