A man identified as Richard Torres who obviously prefers trees to women dressed up and married his beloved tree in what would easily pass for a lavish wedding bash at the Bogota National Park in Colombia in a bid to create awareness for environmental issues.
From the video of the wedding ceremony, the groom kissed his “bride” passionately before engaging “her” in a loved up warm cuddle.
Quite how he attached a ring to the tree, we’re not quite sure.
The groom who seemed unabated by people’s views reportedly tied the knot with his first tree bride a tree last year as well, so he’s already something of a bigamist in the plant world, Daily Star reports on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 said.
