10 Reasons Cuddly Men Make The Best Boyfriends

Must read

by Katy Horwood

When it comes to male physical perfection, it is widely believed that this needs to include rippling muscles, a rock solid six-pack and thighs that could crack walnuts.

As admirable as the body of an Adonis is, when it comes to boyfriend material (and being good in the sack), muscles aren’t all that.

From something to snuggle up to at night to proof that he knows how to enjoy himself – here are 11 reasons why cuddly men make the best boyfriends.

1. They’ve got more important things to worry about than their six-pack

Like having a good time and enjoying life.

Because, whilst we all respect someone who looks after themselves, what’s more of a turn off than a guy whose idea of a good session is an hour pumping weights at the gym before work.

2. Big doesn’t always mean unfit

*Or* lazy.

3. They’re not vain

In a world gone image crazy, what’s sexier than a person, man or woman, saying ‘this is me, take it or leave it and to hell with what society thinks’.

4. They don’t take themselves too seriously

OMG! I’ve put on three pounds over Christmas!!

Is, categorically, not the thing you want to hear coming out of your boyfriend’s mouth.

5. Or drink slimline tonic

… Be on the Paleo diet, cut out gluten and sugar and say no to dessert because they’re watching their waist line.

6. They wouldn’t dream of wearing skinny jeans

Which should be standard dress code for all grown men regardless of their size and stature.

7. They know how to enjoy life

‘I chose the steak, ate the cake, and washed it all down with a delicious bottle of red’.

Delicious.

8. They’re not going to make you feel bad for eating a Big Mac

The couple who eat together stay together – and who wants a boyfriend who’s first words when you sit down to dinner are ‘are you sure you really need that bread basket?’ anyway.

9. They’re cuddly

*Nothing* says perfect winter nights like being cosy in bed with a bear of a man keeping you warm.

10. They’re good in bed

Because a man who knows how to eat, knows how to *eat*.
