Suarez Fires Barcelona Into The Club World Cup Final

Barcelona are through to the final of the Club World Cup on Thursday, December 17, 2015 when they beat Chinese Super League champions, Guangzhou Evergrande 3-0 in the semi-final of the ongoing club world cup championship.

Uruguayan striker, Luis Suarez was responsible for all goals in the match as he grabbed a hat-trick at the International Stadium Yokohama.

The first goal came just before halftime after Ivan Rakitic’s long-range effort was parried by goalkeeper, Li Shuai.

Five minutes into the second half, Suarez scored his second with a brilliant volley after controlling a pass from Andres Iniesta.

The last goal of the game came from the penalty spot after Huang Bowen brought down Munir El Haddadi in the penalty area.

Barcelona will now face River Plate in the final on Sunday, December 20, 2015.
