16-Year-Old’s Rape Photos Go Viral And Now She’s Speaking Out [WATCH]

A 16-year-old teenager living in Houston is speaking out against her alleged rapists after images of her sexual assault went viral on social media.

In an interview with a local news station KHOU 11, the girl, who requested to be identified as Jada, says she was invited to a party last month where she was offered a drink of punch. She believes the drink was drugged.

Think Progress reports Houston police are currently investigating Jada’s claims.

Jada alleges she eventually passed out and was raped that night — something she did not realize until disturbing images and videos of her unconscious body began appearing on social media. Many of the images also include individuals reenacting the alleged assault with the hashtag #JadaPose.

“I had no control,” Jada said in the interview. “I didn’t tell anyone to take my clothes off and do what they did to me.”

With her mother’s permission, Jada said she has chosen to go public with her story in order to bring her assaulters to justice.

“There’s no point in hiding,” she said. “Everybody has already seen my face and my body, but that’s not what I am and who I am.”

The Root has identified at least one alleged attacker in the sexual assault as Innel Yahia, who has taken to Twitter to make jest of the allegations and maintain his innocence.

Yahia has now deactivated his Twitter account, though not before The Huffington Post obtained a collection of his tweets.

Jada says she is now being home-schooled.

“No one’s daughter deserved this,” Jada’s mother, who asked not to be identified, said. “No human being deserved this.”
