Following the statement released by the Department of State Security, DSS on Tuesday, December 30, 2014, warning politicians to refrain from character assassination of the presidency and conscious affront of the Federal Government, Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi has posted on his twitter handle, stated that he will not bow to threats from anyone.
Minister of Police Affairs, Jelili Adesiyan, had also threatened to arrest and prosecute politician or loyalist, no matter how highly placed in the society,that makes inciting comment heat the polity in Nigeria, urging every state governor to be mindful of their comments.
