
An unnamed 29-year-old armed robber had been shot in the leg and nabbed after robbing a bank and trying to load the heavy stolen cash of £185,000 onto his motorbike in his bid to escape in Huludao, China.

A CCTV footage displayed the man trying to load the bag of cash weighing 13 stone onto the back of his motorbike after holding up a security guard at gunpoint.
The robber, had threatened a security guard who was carrying the bag of cash through the bank’s revolving doors with a toy gun and snatched it from him, according to Sky news.
After getting hold of the money, he started dragging it across the carpark to a waiting motorbike but it seemed quite difficult as he visibly struggled to even lift the bag which contained 1.77million Chinese Yuan and balance it on top of the fragile-looking motorbike.

It was at that point that the police surrounded him, shot him in the leg and subsequently arrested him in his failed escape.
The robber who was repentant about his crime is reportedly receiving treatment in a hospital.
According to the police,the man owns a shoe-repair shop and committed the crime in order to get enough money to be able pay his mortgage.
