There are various drinks you can make with lemon. You can pick any of the popular lemonade recipes and it would certainly combat dehydration and rejuvenate your senses.

You can go for the most basic and simplest of all lemonades also. Take some water, squeeze in a few lemons as per your desirable taste and add some mint leaves for flavor.

Throw in some ice cubes and you have your drink ready in no time. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to make a jar of your favorite lemonade and keep it in the fridge, which you can return to time and again for a glass or two.











2. Watermelon Slushy

Watermelon is a very nutritious and healthy fruit. It is nature’s gift to us during summers. You can gorge on slices of watermelon or you can make watermelon slushy which would be tastier.

With generous quantities of vitamin C, antioxidants and fibers, watermelon slushy can replenish all the nutrient deficiencies that you are likely to experience during hot days. Also, it would quickly spur you up the moment you take a sip.

To make watermelon slushy, you can take about 4 cups cubed watermelon, might or might not add some grapes, take about 1 cup of ice cubes or crushed ice, 1/3 cup of lime juice and use a blender to mix all the ingredients uniformly.

Alright, coconut water is not exactly a fruit juice in its truest sense but one cannot exclude it from a list of juices or drinks for hot days.

It is the natural drink that everyone loves and everyone can afford as much as one wants. There is no easier way to fight dehydration, regain energy and to feel cool during hot days.


4. Orange Juice or Soda

Oranges are among the tastiest of all citrus fruits. The more interesting reality is that the juice is tastier than the fruit.

You can have neat orange juice that has no additional flavorings or even sugar. You can also opt for orange soda, orange smoothies or slushy.

To make orange soda, all you need is sparkling or seltzer water, neat orange fruit juice and some ice. You can blend them and your orange juice soda would be ready to be gulped down.



5. Fruit Smoothie

You can create any type of fruit smoothie.

Simply pick your favorite fruits, slice them, put them in a blender and use ice, water and any other flavors that you may like.


6. Banana Shake

Bananas work wonders against dehydration. They are high on potassium and can offer a lot of energy during hot days.

You can have a pure banana shake or blend it with milk or any other flavor that you want.

Strawberry milk shake is a favorite for almost all and sundry, unless one doesn’t like milk or doesn’t like strawberry.
