The Lagos State chapter of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the Governor-elect of the state, Akinwunmi Ambode along with the winners of the House of Assembly Elections – Federal and State – would receive their certificates of return on Thursday, April 16, 2015.
The venue for the presentation of the certificate was given as the Archbishop Vining Memorial Hall, Oba Akinjobi Street, Ikeja, and would commence at 11am.
The three senators-elect from the state are Olugbenga Ashafa (Lagos East), Adeola Olamilekan (Lagos West) and wife of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National leader, Oluremi Tinubu (Lagos Central).
Those expected to be at the event are local and international observers, political parties, religious and traditional leaders, civil society organisations and members of the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security.
