Uh-oh, apparently there’s trouble in paradise for the world’s most beautiful couple! Angelina Jolie admitted both she and Brad Pitt aren’t perfect and that they definitely experience ‘issues’ in their relationship. But, the stunning star claims it’s nothing the pair can’t overcome.
Angelina Jolie, 40, made the shocking admission that her marriage isn’t perfect. She admitted she and Brad Pitt, 51, both have their “issues” but apparently the problems they both experience with each other isn’t that big of a deal. Angie is promoting their new movie, By The Sea, where the real life pair play a troubled, married couple trying to repair their broken relationship, which Angie wrote and directed. Is it a little too autobiographical?
“Brad and I have our issues, but if the characters were even remotely close to our problems we couldn’t have made the film,” the actress tells Vogue in their November issue. “As artists we wanted something that took us out of our comfort zones. Just being raw actors. It’s not the safest idea. But life is short.”
By The Sea will mark the first time the couple worked has together on a movie since their 2005 film, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, where they famously fell in love on set. Brad later split with then-wife Jennifer Aniston, 46, after the movie wrapped up and he and Angie have been together ever since. The couple shot By The Sea shortly after tying the knot in Aug. 2014.
Angie says that she and Brad called the script for By the Sea “the crazy one. We even called it ‘the worst idea.’” But, they went ahead and shot it right after they made the ultimate commitment to each other. “It was our honeymoon,” she tells the magazine. What a crazy way to spend a honeymoon, playing a couple whose marriage is in deep crisis!
Angelina positively glows in the photo shoot that was shot by Annie Leibovitz. She is shown frolicking on a cloudy beach alongside several of the couple’s 6 children. There’s also a group shot of the entire family with husband Brad, sons Maddox, 14, Pax, 11, daughters Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 7. In the spread, there’s a sweet photo of Angelina cradling her precious daughter Viv in her arms, while the little girl is dressed in a white furry bunny costume. SO cute! Angie clearly enjoys her favorite role in life: Mom.
