Arab Money: See The $3.4 Million Police Car Recently Launched In Abu Dhabi

Must read

The Abu Dhabi police force is adding yet another highly exclusive and highly expensive car to its fleet.

The latest addition is a $3.4million Lykan HyperSport supercar, said to be purchased in an effort to outshine the rival police supercar fleet of neighbouring Dubai.

Accoding to CKN News Abu Dhabi police’s new Lykan is ultra exclusive, being one of just seven made, so in that regard it tops the Aston Martin One-77 which is in the Dubai police force’s garage.

The Lykan costs  a whopping $3.4 million, beating the price of Dubai’s $1 million Bugatti Veyron police cruiser.

Although the Lykan HyperSport can cover 100 km/h from zero in 2.8 seconds and for that reason result make an excellent highway patrol vehicle, it’s more likely that the car will instead be used for promotional events than actual police work.

Neighbouring Dubai’s police fleet famously includes more than a dozen super sports cars and exotics, and it’s only been recently that Abu Dhabi has been trying to catch up. Abu Dhabi’s authorities seems dead-set on building up an equally impressive garage there, and recently purchased a Rolls-Royce Phantom to that end.
