The Lekki Ajah Expressway was blocked off today Monday, July 6, 2015 when area boys and officials of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) squad clashed.
According to reports from twitter, trouble started when officials of KAI allegedly packed away goods belonging to local traders and started towing commercial danfo buses.
The area boys retaliated and resisted KAI’s actions by burning tyres and obstructing traffic.
There were reports of gunshots and tear gas canisters been sprayed in the air by people suspected to be the police. As at the time of filing this report, the roads have been cleared and normal traffic flow had resumed.
