Buratai, who was in Konduga Local Government Area of Borno State changed the name of the operation from “Operation Zaman Lafiya” to ”Lafiya Dole”, stating that the name was changed because the terrorist have refused to take the opportunity for peace, hence “enough is enough.”

Speaking further, Buratai said the army must wake up to its traditional responsibility of defending the integrity of the nation.

He also pledged to give the troops the needed support to make sure that peace returns to the troubled region regardless of the plans of the insurgents.
