Arsenal And Liverpool Play Goalless Draw At The Emirates

Two premier league giants, Arsenal and Liverpool played out a goalless draw on Monday at the Emirates stadium. Both teams created many chances but none could convert.

What would have been the only goal of the game was controversially ruled out after Aaron Ramsey hit the back of the net after connecting to a perfect through ball from Santi Cazorla.

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho had struck a shot which hit the bar earlier on.

Coutinho also forced a magnificent save from Petr Cech; the ball hit the Czech international’s finger before it struck the crossbar. The game might have been Cech’s best in Arsenal colors but his Liverpool counterpart, Simon Mignolet also had a great day. The Belgian saved a close range attempt from Olivier Giroud in the 20th minute.

The game ended nil-nil and effectively alters Liverpool’s 100% start to the season.
