Raul Garcia has joined Athletic Bilbao from Atletico Madrid.
This marks the end of Garcia’s eight year stay at the Vicente Calderon stadium. Atletico Madrid has stated that the midfielder requested for the move.
The 29-year-old has signed a four-year deal which comes with a €40 million release clause.
While at Atletico Madrid, Garcia won two Uefa Super Cups, one La Liga title, a Copa del Rey title, one Europa league trophy and the Supercopa de Espana.
