The Senate on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, vowed to publish the names of Ministries, Departments, and Agencies, MDAs, of the Federal Government that have failed to defend queries raised against them by the Auditor General of the Federation, AuGF.
Senate President Ahmad Lawan gave this indication following the presentation of the report of the Senate Committee on Public Accounts on the 2015 report of the AuGF.
Chairman of the SPAC, Senator Matthew Urhoghide in his presentation said some MDAs had refused to appear before the panel to defend the AuGF’s queries against their agencies.
