It about the most amazing things that ever happened that a 10-month-old female baby identified as Betty Jean Fields from Louisiana was discovered alive having been under her father’s dead body for three days.
Her 43-year old father Jason Campos, reportedly died in his house lying on a bed with his laptop next to him in the small town of Pleasant Hill, in Shreveport’s southern suburb.
It was learnt that the baby’s mother was serving a jail term for an undisclosed crime as at the time of the incident, although her lawyer pleaded on her behalf for an emergency discharge so she could take care of her two children.
Baby Fields whose body was said to be numb on arrival at the LSU Medical Center, Shreveport was said to have suffered dehydration with some blisters on her body.
Medical personnel in the hospital where she was receiving intensive care disclosed that she was responding to treatment in a quick pace as she had started playing with teddy bears.
They assured that she would fully recuperate in no time and bounce back to the active baby she used to be.
According to World WideWeird News, the officials who rescued the girl observed that the temperature of the house as at the day of the incident was beyond 100 degrees as there was no air conditioner anywhere around the house.
It was recalled that the baby’s older brother who is about 5 years was suspicious that his dad was dead which made him alert the neighbours who subsequently alerted the officials.
