Nigeria tackles Congo at the Vise Stadium, Rue de Mons in coach Sunday Oliseh’s third match in charge.
Oliseh is yet to see the team concede a goal under his watch (he was really defensive) but the return of the likes of Mikel Obi and Onazi is expected to bring about a shift in the transition of attacks.
The Nigeria vs Congo match will serve as an opportunity for players to show the coach what they can do as they aim to stake a regular place in the first eleven.
The biggest talking point has to be the sudden retirement of the Super Eagles most capped player Vincent Enyeama after a row over captaincy with Oliseh.
How the team performs in his absence and how it will mentally affect the team will be known after the match.
Ahmed Musa will lead the team as captain while Onazi and Mikel return to the fold. Sylvester Igbonu and Ahmed Musa will flank Odion Ighalo. Elderson Ehiejile return in defense wile Leon Balogun starts at right back.
The match starts at 6pm Nigerian time.
