BREAKING: Acting IG Of Police Disbands FSARS

The Acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, has ordered the immediate disbandment of the Federal SARS, Special Investigation Panel and Special Tactical Squad, Channels TV reports.

Adamu made the announcement on Monday, January 21, 2019, at his inaugural conference with Commissioners of Police and other senior officers in Abuja.

While FSARS will no longer be in operation, there will be a Special Anti-Robbery Squad domiciled in each of the 36 states under the direct supervision of the Commissioners of Police.
