BREAKING: Mikel Obi Donates $30,000 To Team Nigeria

John Obi Mikel, the captain of the Nigeria’s national football team, the Super Eagles, on Thursday, July 28, 2016, donated $30,000 (N9,450,000) to the Nigeria Olympic team, who are currently struggling financially over a lack of support from the Nigerian government.

It can be recalled that Dream Team coach, Sampson Siasia, had earlier today, in an interview, said that he and his team are currently suffering financially.

Mikel, who is a player with Chelsea Football Club of England, is also the captain of Team Nigeria for the 2016 Olympic Games to hold in Rio, Brazil.
