A 34-year old murder suspect, Matthew Williams who died after being tortured by police was allegedly found eating a woman’s eyeball and face in a hotel room in Sirhowy Arms Hotel in Argoed, South Wales.
It was learnt that Williams had refused to open the door for a security staff had bursted into the room and out of fear, he alerted the police who hit Williams with the high voltage taser and knocked him down.
Williams, who was released from prison just two weeks ago, was formally arrested but died moments later, a Metro Uk report on Thursday, November 6, said .
Williams also known as Fifi had just served half a five-year prison sentence for a violent attack on his partner who lives nearby.
The 22-year-old woman, who he had just met, was also confirmed dead from her injuries emanating from the attack.
One of the residents at the area, Jill Edwards said, ‘This animal was eating this girl to death. He murdered her so police stopped him – good on them.
‘Security said they told him no girls in his room and he didn’t answer, when they opened his door he was eating her face.’
Confirming the incident, the Gwent Police spokeswoman said, ‘We were called at 1.23am after a reported that a man was attacking a woman in the Sirhowy Arms Hotel.
‘On arrival both the male and female were still at the location. A taser was discharged and a man was arrested.
‘The woman was located with injuries and has since been pronounced deceased. While under arrest, the man became unresponsive. Officers and paramedics administered first aid but he has since been pronounced deceased.
‘A murder investigation is underway into the death of the woman.’
