Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendez has finally laid the transfer rumor of the Portuguese star, to Manchester United before he hangs up his boots in professional football.
Jorge Mendez on Friday, December 26, 2014 addressed rumors that Ronaldo might return to Old Trafford, with many speculating the Real Madrid wing man could make the switch as early as the end of the season, stating that the news is unfounded.
The 29-year-old agent had insisted that there is no reason why Ronaldo won’t end his career at the Bernabeu, where he has achieved so much in his career.
‘I believe that Cristiano will finish his career at Real Madrid. He’s happy at the club and is still keen to achieve more success in Madrid.’
Ronaldo, who has already netted 32 times in 25 games for the European champions, while he’s bagged another two in two for Portugal is already in line to claim his third Ballon d’Or award in his football career and the second, after another sensational year for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
