So many people are cheating God out of His praise by refusing to let their talents shine. They have been taught false humility such that they feel they must value their talents less than it is. People tell them you are very beautiful and they say ‘no I am not’.

People say they are very hardworking and they say ‘oh no, I really am not’. That is not humility.

Humility is acknowledging your talents and character improvements but giving God the credit for it.

How many times have you heard people say ‘thank God for that man’?

If that man had hidden his talents, or character who would have said that? Yeshu’a put it best in Matthew 5:16, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven”. Note the words “before others”.

You are not meant to hide your light. That is not humility it is timidity!
