The Inspector-General of Police (IG), Suleiman Abba, has lauded the professional conduct of the Nigerian Police Force during the Saturday, March 28, 2015 presidential and National Assembly elections held across the country.

Speaking via a statement by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the force, Emmanuel Ojukwu, Abba thanked the Nigerian electoral or their orderly and peaceful conduct and the cooperation they availed to security agencies through out the election.

Abba further urged Nigerians to stay vigilant, steadfast and firm as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) collates the results from the election.

He also besought Nigerians to go about their lawful business without fear, warning those who are planning on causing troubles to reconsider their stance as the police was ready to overpower their efforts.
