Fake Drugs Worth Over N100 Million Seized In Kano

Authorities have on Thursday, October 9, 2014 seized fake drugs worth over N100 million in a ware house located at Gezawa Local Government Area, Kano state.

This was made known through the minister of commerce and tourism, Dr. Umar Farouk Jibril who said that about 2,715 cartons of fake drugs were seized during the process.

Jibril disclosed that nobody has been arrested yet in connection with the crime.

The minister called on people to be vigilant and provide the government with useful information that will help to combat the crime of dealing on fake drugs not just in the state but in the nation as a whole.
