Police are looking to arrest a man on a charge of bestiality after allegedly raping a pregnant horse and leaving it bleeding, police in Wisconsin said.
Waupaca County police said that a farm owner filed a complaint after finding his 5-year-old horse raped and injured on Sunday morning.
According to the police investigation, the farmer took his horse to a veterinarian, who determined that it was raped with an object.
Detectives interviewed a man who is known to rape horses in the area, but he denied being involved in this attack.
Police said that this is not the first incident of bestiality reported in the area, and they are questioning several suspects in order to determine who is responsible for the latest attack.
So far, no arrests have been made. Police warned horse owners to be more vigilant.
