Floyd Mayweather Wins ‘The Greatest Boxing Match Of All Time’

Floyd Mayweather Jr. Victor Ortiz at the MGM Grand Garden Arena September 17, 2011 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Floyd Mayweather is now the greatest boxer of his generation with a points win over Philippine, Manny Pacquaio.

Mayweather won with 148 of 435 punches (34.0%) compared to 81 of 429 for Pacquiao (18.9%).

He is however not the most loved or popular boxer as Mayweather’s in-ring interview was completely inaudible as boos rained from all sides.

Allegations of domestic abuse with an ex-girlfriend have damaged Floyd’s popularity.

The fight is said to be the richest fight in boxing history, generating a whooping $300 million but much like Tyson-Lewis, this is a long over-due fight 5/6 years in the making.
