Nigeria’s Under-20 male soccer team, the Flying Eagles on Sunday, March 22, 2015 defeated their Senegalese counterparts by one goal to nil to clinch the 2015 African Youth Championship (AYC).
The tournament which was hosted by Senegal, saw Nigeria win courtesy a wonderfully taken super strike by Bernard Bulbwa in the first half of the keenly contested match.
The match was played at the Stade Léopold Sédar Senghor in Dakar, the Senegalese capital.
Both teams had earlier met in the group stage, with Nigeria running away 3-1 winners.
