How bad can it get that one job hunts for several months and finally landed a job only to be fired before she would get started.
This was the plight of a careless female user of the social media from Texas who got laid off from her new job because of a post she shared via her Twitter page.
Needless to say that the world has turned into a global village and the ‘village’ in question gets more condensed as days grow by with the rate of technologies being birthed daily.
The victim whose Twitter handle is @Cella was expected to resume at her new office in a Pizza parlor known as Jets Pizza in Mansfield Texas on Saturday, February 7, 2015 but she obviously Tweeted her way out of the new job on Friday night.
One of Cellla’s prospective colleagues allegedly grabbed a screen shot of the Tweet and sent it too her intended boss.
The man,who goes by the name Robert Waple on Twitter and rarely used his account replied to inform Cella that she was fired.
He said, “And….no you don’t start that FA job today! I just fired you! Good luck with your no money, no job life!
He explained, “[I] don’t usually Tweet but have had an account forever. One of my workers sent me a pic of the tweet. Thought I’d respond.”The original copy of the tweet has been put down from her account although some fast fingers already got a good grab.
When asked what her job would have entailed, Waple revealed that Cella’s prospective duties included working register, taking phone orders, making subs/salads. Eating free pizza. How hard would that have been?
Just as expected, Cellla’s story went viral over the weekend and still makes rounds with different reactions from several internet users precisely on Twitter.
Cellla, who seemed unabated by the development actually retweeted some of the funny opinions of people regarding the situation.
One of her followers said, ‘The fact that you were fired it became really famous! Hahaha Greetings from Argentina!
Another follower Natalia Rondon said, he fact that you were fired it became really famous! Hahaha Greetings from Argentina!
One of her Twitter followers who was probably playing around asked the Waple to give him the job since he fired Cellla.
