Gov. Wike Retires 14 Rivers Permanent Secretaries

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has retired 14 permanent secretaries from the State Civil Service.

The announcement was made via a statement issued on Friday, November 20, 2015 by his Special Assistant on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu.

According to the statement which availed that the retirement of the permanent secretaries would take immediate effect, the following people were among the affected: Ms. Kadilo-Brown, Somieari Isaac-Harry, Mr. Michael West, Nuka Nadum Nwikpasi, Mrs. Iragunima Comfort, Collins Davidson, Mrs. Otonyetarie Okorie, Asoelu Gayamos Ogo, Dr. Jumbo Justina, Kingsley Hart, Austin Orlu-Orlu, Samuel Egbe, Sam Woka and Ngozi Abu.

A part of the statement read: “Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, has approved the compulsory retirement of 14 permanent secretaries from the Rivers State Civil Service. Their retirement takes immediate effect.”
