Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has appointed twelve new permanent secretaries to serve in the state’s civil service.
The new appointees – 5 women and 7 men – were announced in a statement signed by special advisor to Governor Wike on Media and Publicity, Sir Opunabo Inko-Taria and sent to The Trent on Monday, August 3, 2015.
The new permanent secretaries are Dr. Adolphus Nweke, Mrs. Abiye Tobin-West, Dr. Nkor Felix – Gokan, James Enebeli, Anthony Nweyilobu, Sir Alawari Ndu, Dr Agiriye Harry, Mrs Caroline Wali, Felix Odungweru, Dame Josephine Chukwuigwe, Mrs. Helen Peter, and Mrs. Florence Fiberesima.
They will be sworn-in by Governor Wike on August 7, 2015.
