Heavyweight Champion, Muhammad Ali Rushed To Hospital After He Failed To Wake Up

Heavyweight champion, Muhammad Ali, who suffers Parkinson’s disease and recently diagnosed with pneumonia a severe urinary tract infection had been rushed to an Intensive Care Unit after he was found unresponsive in his home at Scottsdale, Arizona in the United States.

This is coming barely a week after the sports star was discharged from the hospital where he was previously admitted days before Christmas on Thursday, January 25, 2014.

A source close to the family told Radar Online exclusively that guests at his home had called 911 in the early hours of Thursday, January 15, 2015 after he became unresponsive.The source said, “He wasn’t responding. He went to bed Tuesday night, but didn’t wake up in the afternoon or evening the next day. He was sleeping for 24 hours.”

According to the source, Ali had who recently turned 73 slept for more than 24 hours before the emergency services were called to the scene.

“They thought he might be too exhausted.
“They’re doing tests and results may not be back until tonight,” said the source.
“So for now, he’s resting,” surrounded by loved ones including his daughter, Hana, and wife, Lonnie.
