The newly appointed inspector-general of police, IGP Suleiman Abba on Monday August 11, 2014 decorated 3 commissioners of police who were recently promoted.
The 3 commissioners are CP Aminchi Samaila Baraya, CP Alkali Baba Usman and CP Dan Bature.
In a statement signed by force public relations officer Frank Mba from force headquarters on Monday, August 11, 2014 and posted on his personal blog, a reports states the ceremony was not brief it with was certainly not bereft of pomp and pageantry as the IG congratulates the commissioners, beseeching them to take their job to heart, reminding them, that to whom much is given, much is expected.
IGP Abba further urges the senior police officers to be aware of the goings-on around them and avail themselves not only to the officers around them but members of the public as well.
