Barcelona attacker and former world footballer of the year, Lionel Messi will be missing in action for about 7-8 weeks.
The 28-year-old sustained a knee injury three minutes into a La Liga game against Las Palmas on Saturday, September 26, 2015. The former world footballer of the year collided with La Palmas defender Pedro Bigas while he tried to shoot the ball.
Barcelona’s official Twitter handle has confirmed that the Argentine tore the internal collateral ligament of his left knee. He is expected to be out for about 7-8 weeks.
