Daar Communications Plc Complex which houses African Independent Television, AIT and Ray Power FM in the Alagbado area of Lagos has been rocked by a fire outbreak earlier on Monday, March 9, 2015.
This was disclosed by the authorities of the TV station via their official Twitter page.

The timely intervention if the operatives of the state fire service helped to douse the inferno from escalating further.
In the meantime, the station is assessing the damage caused by the fire which the cause is yet to be ascertained.
Fortunately, no casualties were recorded in the incident which occurred at the studio section of the TV station.
Update: Fire at AIT's Lagos studio has been put out by men of the Fire Service, no casualty recorded and the damage is being assessed.
